FAFSA help

South Plains Generation Texas (www.southplainsgentx.org ) will host several financial aid workshops to help seniors and their parents to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Completing the FAFSA is the first step to obtaining financial aid. Federal Student Aid programs are the largest source of student aid in the country. The FAFSA will determine if the student qualifies for four things: Pell grants, federal workstudy, Perkins Loan or Stafford Loan.
Texas Tech University student interns will provide one-on-one assistance to students and their parents in filling out the FAFSA online.

*Parents /seniors will need to schedule an appointment by contacting Wendi Weitman at 806-742-1998, ext. 463. The workshop will take place in the College of Education Building located on the TTU campus at 3008 18th St, Room 167.

*Seniors and their parents are encouraged to attend one of these workshops.
