COVID-19 Update 10/6/2020

Good evening, Ralls High School Families,

Please be advised that we received notification today that an individual in attendance at Ralls High School Monday, October 5th received a positive diagnosis for COVID-19. In keeping with Ralls ISD's practices to respond to COVID-19, we have updated the district's COVID-19 website with reporting and notification requirements. All people who were in close contact with the individual without a face covering have already been contacted. The campus has also been thoroughly sanitized.

Due to HIPAA privacy protection regulations we are unable to release the identity of the person, classroom, or grade level involved in the situation. We are confident the exposure risk due to close contact is minimal because of our protocols requiring the wearing of proper face coverings (covers nose and mouth) for students, teachers, staff, and administrators; social distancing; and cleaning and sanitizing standards.

Ralls ISD adheres to COVID-19 protocols established by the TEA, University Interscholastic League (UIL), and the City of Lubbock Health Department. We appreciate your support during these unusual times.
